I researched materials, colors, and textures to enhance the aesthetic and ergonomic quality of the pet furniture line. Collaborated with senior designers to refine prototypes, balancing current design trends with safety considerations. I created composited product imagery and web layouts for the company’s official platform, ensuring visual consistency across digital media. For the product detail page in the website, I composited dog and cat imagery onto the product renders to demonstrate scale, interaction, and everyday context.

Home in a Bowl
2025 Editorial Design, In Design, Illustrator, Procreate
Home in a Bowl is a narrative cookbook that visualizes food as an emotional language. Rather than treating recipes only as instructions, this project explores how cooking can hold memory, comfort, belonging, and care. Through conversations with friends from diverse backgrounds, I collected personal food stories and looked at how each dish reflected someone’s relationship with home.
The project began with my flatmate Lauren, who shared her spinach chickpea stew recipe. It was a dish she grew up eating with her mother in Colorado, so the recipe carried both family memory and a sense of everyday comfort. By listening to her story, I became interested in how a simple homemade meal can become a personal archive, holding small details of childhood, routine, and emotional connection.
I translated Lauren’s story into a visual cookbook through layout, drawing, photography, and hand-written typography. The hand-made visual language was chosen to reflect the warmth of home cooking and the intimacy of sharing a recipe. Instead of creating a clean, commercial cookbook, I wanted the pages to feel personal, soft, and lived-in, almost like a memory passed from one person to another. Each page combines images, ingredients, written reflections, and storytelling to show how food connects people beyond culture and language. Home in a Bowl presents cooking as a quiet form of communication, where care can be expressed through preparation, sharing, and remembering.
