I'm Liz, a learning designer from Boston.
I studied studio art at Tufts and did my study abroad at Central Saint Martins in London. I was usually the newest person in the room, so I pay close attention to who a design leaves out. That habit pulled me from branding into research. I have worked in child development and education labs at Tufts, Harvard, Boston College, and Boston University, and I spend a lot of that time watching kids use things in ways nobody planned. In 2026, I founded My AI Steps, a nonprofit that teaches children ages 5 to 12 how AI works. My goal is to grow it into an AI literacy brand that kids come back to again and again.
Research Experiences
My research has focused on how children learn with technology. Across four labs, I have worked on early literacy, AI reading tools, and human-computer interaction, with each role informing how I approach learning design.
