I researched materials, colors, and textures to enhance the aesthetic and ergonomic quality of the pet furniture line. Collaborated with senior designers to refine prototypes, balancing current design trends with safety considerations. I created composited product imagery and web layouts for the company’s official platform, ensuring visual consistency across digital media. For the product detail page in the website, I composited dog and cat imagery onto the product renders to demonstrate scale, interaction, and everyday context.

Hug Wag

2024 Branding, Photoshop, Illustrator
Branding Award, SMFA Graphic Arts Annual Exhibition

Hug Wag is a brand that supports artists with autism by sharing their artwork with a wider audience. The brand turns their drawings and illustrations into a variety of pet products, such as packaging, accessories, toys, and everyday items for dogs and their owners. By placing the artists’ work onto products that people can use, gift, and display, Hug Wag helps their artwork move beyond a private or gallery space and become part of daily life.

The profits are returned to the artists, helping them continue their creative practice and receive recognition for their work. Hug Wag is not only about selling pet products, but also about creating a warmer system of support and connection. Each product becomes a small way to celebrate the artist’s voice while also building a meaningful relationship between people, pets, and art.

The “Hug Wag” logo features a playful and friendly design, where the letter “g” resembles a dog’s wagging tail. This small detail connects directly to the brand name and reflects the love, joy, and companionship that dogs bring into people’s lives. The rounded, handmade feeling of the logo also gives the brand a soft and approachable personality. Overall, Hug Wag communicates warmth, friendship, care, and a strong emotional bond between dogs, their owners, and the artists behind the designs.
